This collection includes on-location work in both oils and ink on Claybord. There are pieces from around home in Colorado as well as from my travels in North and South America and Europe. For many of the Colorado mountain scenes we loaded our pack horses with painting gear and rode into some incredible scenery!

This collection includes some very unique editions derived from years of experimentation using the Claybord Smooth surface both as a printing plate in lithography, and relief printing and to receive images as in the monoprint lithographs, zinc plate etchings, and watercolor pencil monotypes. All these techniques are illustrated in my book, The New Scratchboard.

Bronze Sculpture
View
this Collection
Charles' collection of bronzes includes his major work of the Stations of the Cross, fifteen bronzes commissioned by the St. Margaret Mary Church of Omaha, Nebraska for a prayer garden on the Church's grounds. As of August 2010, ten have been completed, with the completion date for the other five to be in the Spring of 2011. The edition size of each of these sculptures is 30.
This Collection includes other pieces as well, some of which are represented by images of the clay originals, yet to be cast. Sculpture is a relatively new endeavor for Charles yet in adding one more dimension to the two he is accustomed to translates easily in clay into the same expressive gesture and expression he has always seen in his mind's eye.
